After traveling the world, her home design evolved into a boutique-hotel-like design, and when she discovered Las Catalinas, she knew it was the perfect place to bring her dream to life. The design of the home was inspired by Mayan architecture, converted colonial homes, monasteries, and chapels, with a colonial courtyard designed to capture ocean breezes from all directions, cooling all the outdoor spaces.

The goal of the design was to create the perfect guest experience, with every guest feeling drawn to gather and having their own private, restful space. Each of the suites at the Posada is designed for privacy, allowing up to 14 guests to gather and enjoy their stay.
