Take a boat from Thatch Rd wharf in Lwr Lincoln, go 1.5KM downriver (right). Land is somewhere on the left. Here's an interesting parcel of land. Over 9 acres of waterfront land on an island in the middle of the Saint John River or Wolastoq River. Oromocto Island is a 600 (approx) acre island located near where the Oromocto & Saint John River converge. Vegetation is a mix a grass land & mixed hardwood trees. cattle can often be seen grazing there. A boat launch can be found at the end of Thatch Road in Lower Lincoln. Subject land looks to be about 1.5KM downriver from Thatch Rd Wharf. It might be a great place to get away & set up camp. The fishing is good & there's lots of bird life including ducks! (id:27476)
